extention of delivery period will not normally be granted
except in deserving case where genuine reason exists, that
too, only once. There after, penal provision as per IRS condition
will be invoked .”
2) “Firms
submitting offer by downloading from Website or submitting
offer directly without purchasing Bid Document must enclose
DD along with their offer towards cost of Bid Document. Offers
received without purchasing Bid Document or enclosing DD towards
cost of Bid document will not be considered (except those
are exempted to pay tender cost being registered with NSIC
for the item and / or who got tender documents free of cost
from this office or through NSIC)”
Special condition of contact - Page
No.7 of Sl. 4.2 of this Bid Documents regarding 'Delivery'
is hereby modified as under:: “As per
IRS condition of contract, time for and date of delivery as
specified in the P.O. is the essence of the contract. Tenderers
are, therefore, requested to quote reasonable and workable
